Tamaqua Adult Day Care

The Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center held its August board meeting last week. A new director was welcomed by the board. There are four new clients being processed to join our center. September will see the center switch to Meals on Wheels to provide clients with healthy, balanced meals during their daily stay.

The chicken or beef fundraiser dinner scheduled for Sept. 16 has been canceled. The fundraiser service provider (A&C Catering) informed us the chicken is not available at this time. We are grateful for the notice and look forward to rescheduling the dinner. Anyone who purchased a ticket can stop by the center for a full refund or call 570-668-6556. The center is planning a pie sale for the Thanksgiving holiday. More information on the pie sale will be published next month. If you have an adult day care need, stop by the center at 801 E. Broad St. for a tour. Our staff will be glad to answer questions and provide information.
