Schuylkill County District Attorney Michael O’Pake and the Schuylkill County detectives are asking the public to help locate Matthew Mark Mabus.

He failed to appear at the Schuylkill County Prison Aug. 12 to begin serving his prison sentence of not less than six months nor more than 12 months on original charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, habitual offender, all misdemeanors and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, a summary offense.

Mabus, 29, is a non-Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. His known address is 450 Sunbury St., Minersville.

Anyone who sees Mabus is asked to call the Schuylkill County Communications Center immediately.
