Schuylkill County Coroner Dr. David J. Moylan III said a traditional autopsy is scheduled for the 10-month-old boy who died in Tremont borough Sunday.

The autopsy is today at the Dauphin County Forensic Center by Dr. Wayne Ross, Moylan said. A post-mortem CT scan done Monday at the Simon Kramer Cancer Institute, New Philadelphia, was “helpful but not conclusive,” he said, declining to elaborate further.

State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the death after responding to Clay Street at 3:24 p.m. for the unresponsive child, who was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, East Norwegian Street.

Tremont Ambulance and Schuylkill EMS responded to the scene.
