One person was seriously injured Monday evening in a crash in Mahoning Township. The crash occurred around 6 p.m. along Grist Mill Road just south of Route 902. The person was traveling south when they lost control, entering the right berm before hitting a tree. The victim was freed from the wreckage by members of the Mahoning Valley Fire Company and was treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance then flown by LifeFlight helicopter to a Lehigh Valley area trauma center.
