Carbon County’s retirement fund has continued its high performance, officials said on Thursday.
During the monthly meeting of the county retirement board, controller Mark Sverchek reported that the portfolio value of the fund as of Aug. 13 was $95,338,886, which represents an all-time high for the portfolio.
The retirement fund has continually seen growth over the last year, jumping from $88,723,318 at the beginning of the year.
