Ukrainian Food Festival at the Ukrainian Homestead

Join us at the Ukrainian Homestead of CEC, ODWU, 1230 Beaver Run Drive, Lehighton, on Saturday and Sunday for an afternoon of Ukrainian food and culture.

Gates open at noon with admission just $5 per car. Food will be available for eat-in on our spacious grounds or takeout from noon until 6 p.m. Foods include pirohi, halupki, potato pancakes, kielbasa and sauerkraut and an array of Ukrainian desserts.

Ukrainian crafts will be available for purchase as well. A stage show will begin at 2 p.m. This year’s entertainment includes the Kazka Ukrainian Folk Ensemble from Schuylkill County, the Lekhi Family Orchestra from New York City, violinist Innesa Dejkalo, vocal trio Voloshky and local favorite, accordionist, the Rev. Volodymyr Baran from Palmerton. There will also be musical entertainment in the Biergarten with Walt Syzonenko on Saturday and the Lekhi Family on Sunday.

This is a rain or shine event. Masks and social distancing are recommended.
