State police at Lehighton

State police at Lehighton reported on the following cases investigated by troopers.

• Willie Johnson, 63, of Lansford, has been charged with Megan’s Law violation, failure to comply. Troopers said Johnson is a Megan’s Law offender and failed to update critical information as required by the law. Charges were filed.

• On Aug. 12 at 12:44 p.m. troopers responded to a report of a disabled vehicle at Owl Creek Road and Hemlock Street in Towamensing Township. On scene it was determined a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix was driven eastbound on Owl Creek Road when the driver lost control and the vehicle traveled into a grassy area on the right side. In the process the vehicle became disabled. No injuries were reported.

The driver, a 33-year-old woman from Lehighton, who troopers declined to identify, was suspected of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The investigation is continuing.

• On Aug. 14 at 7:38 p.m. along Fiddletown Road in Eldred Township, Monroe County, a 54-year-old man from Kunkletown; and a 58-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, both from Phillipsburg, New Jersey, were involved in a fight. Troopers declined to identify the parties. The three were all charged with harassment - physical contact.

• A 72-year-old man from Pheasant Road in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, was cited for a dog law violation for failure to confine his dog. Police did not release his name.
