• Accepted and signed the 2021 Community Development Block Grant general application (anticipated amount of $96,604).
• Approved the Lehigh Valley Health Network agreement in which LVHN has agreed to give the township $45,000 in each of the next three years, starting this year.
• Tabled the advertisement of a no parking ordinance on a portion of Church Street, beginning of 111 feet from the intersection of Church Street and Pine Street, and continuing north for a distance of 76 feet.
• Approved the Diaz building/tax appeal verified statement.
• On a 3-2 vote, adopted a resolution changing the name of Clinic Road (T-394) to Diaz Clinic Road. Supervisors Myron Blahy, David Pollock and Brian Resser were in favor, with Supervisor Robert Slaw and board Chairman Bruce Steigerwalt opposed.
• Adopted a resolution authorizing the incurrence of lease obligation in the principal amount not to exceed $47,158.
• Adopted a resolution concerning the American Rescue Fund with JTNB in the amount of $221,846.
• Adopted a resolution MCTC deposit account (Diaz building).
• Approved the Drue and Jan Haydt minor subdivision conditioned upon Peter Eisenbrown letter of July 20 have been addressed, DEP approval and mylar).
• Reapproved the Neeb subdivision due to being beyond the 90-day county recording requirement.
• Granted permission to the Mahoning Valley fire police for assistance at Lehighton’s Halloween Parade on Oct. 2.
