State police at Schuylkill Haven reported the following incidents:

• On July 26 at 12:38 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado truck along North Tulpehocken Street at Penn Dye Street, in Pine Grove, for faulty equipment. Upon investigation it was learned a passenger, Vanessa Billman, 35, of Tremont, was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges to be filed.

• On July 14 at 2:34 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 1999 Jeep along East Norwegian Street at Line Street in Pottsville. It was determined that the driver, Brian Martin, 30, of Frackville, was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

• On July 11 at 9:19 p.m. troopers investigated a fight that occurred at the Country Squire Motel, located along Route 61 in North Manheim Township. One man was treated for a minor injury to the face. As a result Archie Moore, 39, of Pottsville, was charged with simple assault.

• A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said on July 14 at 4:56 p.m. troopers were dispatched to investigate an unauthorized use complaint at a residence along Vaux Avenue in Tremont. A 63-year-old woman said Melissa Wentzel, 48, of Pottsville, was using her car without authorization on July 4. Charges were filed.
