Bowmanstown Borough Council took the following action on Tuesday:

• Granted the Bowmanstown Area Residents Connected permission to paint a mural in the tunnel underneath the highway and to search for grants and narrow the field of artists.

• Agreed to obtain a price quote to remove eight dead trees at Spring and Mill streets.

• Agreed to pay Luke Blisard for his attendance at the course, mileage reimbursement, and the test cost as part of a 12-day training program for wastewater operation certification on Tuesdays, from Aug. 17 to Nov. 16.
