A Summit Hill man is in Schuylkill County Prison after he was picked up by Saint Clair Police Wednesday.

Phillip Allen Carnese was arrested after police were on patrol and observed him outside of a home on North Nicholas Street, where he had been staying. Carnese ran into the home and was later found in the attic crawl space. The homeowner denied knowing he was a fugitive.

Carnese was wanted on an adult probation warrant, an employee of the office said.

Carbon County Sheriff Anthony Harvilla said Friday he was also wanted on three warrants from Carbon County, two were from the domestic relations office for failure to appear for a scheduled hearing and there was a warrant for a failure to appear for a preliminary hearing for a first offense of driving under the influence.

He was treated by EMS on scene before being taken to Schuylkill County Prison.

Saint Clair Police say he was wanted on warrants of assault by prisoner and possession of a methamphetamine out of Schuylkill County and DUI controlled substance out of Carbon County.
