James Parramore was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:51 a.m. by Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller.
Police said they were dispatched there to assist emergency medical services personnel after Parramore was found on the front porch.
Police said a hypodermic needle was found in the general area of the victim.
