State police at the Lehighton barracks said Judith Jones, 54, of Milroy, is being charged for driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance.

Troopers responded to an incident at 2:17 a.m. July 17 on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said Jones was found passed out behind the wheel due to consumption of alcohol and drugs.

The vehicle was parked on the shoulder of the roadway with the engine running.
