July 27, 1979 - Mike Repik races home on a wild pitch to give Lansford a 10-9 walk-off win over Nesquehoning in a Panther Valley Little League tournament game. Lansford had trailed 9-0 in the contest before rallying all the way back. Repik finishes with three hits - two doubles and a triple - and three RBIs. Chris Boyer and Brian Raabe each collect a pair of hits, while Gary Karnish relieves in the first and pitches shutout ball the rest of the way to earn the victory. For the Nesquers, Dave Ligenza collects two hits.
