Dinkey Memorial Church, Ashfield, has a new pastor.

The Rev. Keith Yoder assumed the duties as pastor on July 1 and will be installed during a service on Sunday at the church.

This is the first call for the Rev. Yoder. Last week, he was ordained during a service at the New Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

The church has been without a pastor for nearly two years. During that time, Pastor Henry Wohlgemuth has served as the interim pastor.

The new pastor hails from the Boyertown area. He, his wife, the former Sandra Hitchings, and two children, Hans, 16, and Gretta, 13, have moved to East Penn Township.
