Northampton Community College will hold a free, online information session on its Certified Recovery Specialist Peer Support program on July 27, at 6 p.m.

Certified recovery specialists are mental health workers who have had experience with a psychiatric disorder - such as PTSD, depression, or addiction - and are trained to counsel or assist others with that condition. Familiar with the disorder themselves, these specialists act as role models for clients facing similar difficulties.
