STATE POLICE AT FRACKVILLE
State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents in Schuylkill County:
• A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge that violated a protection from abuse order.
State police at Frackville said on June 27 at 3:01 p.m. troopers were called to Centre Street in Ashland for a possible PFA violation. Upon investigation it was determined that Joseph Allen Klinger, 31, of Minersville, sent text messages to a 30-year-old woman from Ashland in violation of a PFA order.
He was charged accordingly, troopers said.
• On June 18 at 7:48 p.m. troopers responded to a disturbance in the area of Millers Road in North Union Township. Both parties blamed the other.
As a result, John Daniels, 52, of Atlas, Northumberland County, was charged with simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned before a district judge and released on $25,000 unsecured bail. Kimberly White, 50, of Green Lane, Montgomery County, was charged with a summary offense of harassment.
• On June 16 at 6:05 p.m. troopers responded to the area of Dutch Road, in Butler Township, for a domestic disturbance. The parties involved, a husband and wife, both alleged physical contact and incurred injuries.
As a result Michelle Walnock, 51, and Michael Walnock, 46, of Ashland, were both charged with simple assault and reckless endangerment. Both were arraigned before a district judge. Michael Walnock was released on $10,000 unsecured bail and Michelle Walnock was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
• On June 19 at 9:29 a.m. troopers responded to West Washington Street in Shenandoah for a domestic disturbance. A 49-year-old man alleged physical contact by April Briones, 33. Briones was charged with harassment, physical contact.
• On June 20 at 9:40 a.m. troopers responded to West Main Street in Girardville for an active domestic disturbance. A 27-year-old man from Phoenixville, Chester County, who troopers declined to identify, was in violation of a protection from abuse order and was taken into custody. He was arraigned before a district judge and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
• On June 27 at 4 p.m. troopers received a report of a woman walking along Valley Street in New Philadelphia borough who was possibly intoxicated and talking to herself. Troopers responded to the area and made contact with Skye Ulrich, 31, of New Philadelphia. They said she was highly intoxicated. She was placed under arrest for public drunkenness.
• On June 24 at 12:31 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop at Valley and Water streets in Blythe Township, for vehicle code violation. The driver, Shawna Lenker, 27, of Tamaqua, was found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police said charges are pending.
• On June 25 at 10:51 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop at South Lehigh Avenue and West Oak Street, in Frackville, for a vehicle code violation. The driver, Jarelle Canyon, 31, of Minersville, was found in possession of marijuana and cocaine. He was also suspected of driving under the influence. Charges are pending.
