Fire companies from Towamensing and Lower Towamensing townships were dispatched to a structure fire Sunday morning in Towamensing Township.

The blaze was reported around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Summer Mountain Road and Matthew Avenue. Firefighters arriving on scene found a large shed to the rear of a residence fully involved in flames.

The fire also involved a nearby utility pole and power lines. No injuries were reported in the incident.
