Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will host a free Medicare session through the PA Medi program, formerly APPRISE.

There will be two sessions on July 19 at the Lehighton Recreation/Senior Center, 243 S. Eighth St., Lehighton. Sessions are from 3-4:30 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m.

During the session, you will receive information on understanding Medicare and its parts, how and when to enroll, choosing the right health coverage and prescription drug coverage, avoiding penalties, supplemental insurance policies and more.
