State police at Schuylkill Haven report on incidents

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents:

• On June 24 at 8:29 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta in the 200 block of Route 209 in Frailey Township. A passenger, Gurney Wolff, 20, of Pine Grove, had methamphetamine. Drug possession charges are pending.

• On June 18 at 6 a.m. troopers responded to a report of a man with battery acid burns on his legs in the area of 124 Main St., in Upper Mahantango Township. Charges of risking a catastrophe, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief were filed against Noah Vitrano, 37, of Camp Hill. A 58-year-old woman from Klingerstown had $500 in damages to her residence.

• Nancy Runyon, 53, of Orwigsburg, has been charged with stealing an arborvitae tree from the area of 201 Walnut Court, in Deer Lake, on June 23 at 11:40 a.m. Value of the tree is $100.

• On June 28 at 12:47 p.m. along Spittler Road, in Pine Grove Township, a 36-year-old man from Pine Grove, who troopers declined to identify, was charged with harassment - physical contact, after he attempted to hit a 33-year-old man from Pine Grove with a stick and rip him out of his vehicle.

• Troopers said a 70-year-old woman from Auburn reported on June 15 she had been defrauded out of $10,000. She said she sent the money through a Bitcoin account.

• On June 25 police were dispatched to the Pilot Truck Stop, on Suedberg Road in Pine Grove Township. Someone stole a Pennsylvania Skills Game machine from the truck stop sometime around 10 p.m. on June 25. The machine is valued at $5,000 and contained an estimated $500. The investigation is continuing.
