Jessica Lauer of Jim Thorpe graduated May 15 from Misericordia University, Dallas, at the 11 a.m. ceremony, one of four in-person ceremonies held that day.

Jessica graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. During her four years at Misericordia, Jessica was a dean’s list student each semester. She was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international Honor Society of Nursing. She was also a member of SNAP, the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania.

She is the daughter of Mary Louise Lauer and the late Robert J. Lauer, and the granddaughter of Gary and Sara Solt and Marianne Lauer and the late Robert E. Lauer, all of Jim Thorpe.
