A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a three-vehicle crash on June 26 at 11:11 a.m. at Old 22 and Independent Road, in Weisenberg Township, in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Kelly J. Logothetides, 44, of Pottsville, was driving a 2015 Subaru Impreza eastbound on Old 22 while Kathleen M. Tokonitz, 61, of Reading, driving a 2011 Mini Cooper, was southbound on Golden Key Road, and Jenny C. Frei, 46, of Zionsville, driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla, was westbound on Old 22.

Tokonitz and Frei stopped at the intersection. Tokonitz began to cross the intersection when Logothetides did not stop for a posted stop sign and struck the Mini Cooper with her Impreza. After impact, the Impreza continued on and struck Frei’s Corolla.

No injuries were reported. The Impreza had to be towed.

Troopers said Logothetides was cited for stop signs and yield signs and Tokonitz was cited for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.
