The Palmerton and Lehighton Area Democratic Clubs will host a midsummer potluck picnic.

The event will take place from 4-6:30 p.m. July 18 at Bert Holczman’s Farm, 520 Quarry Road, Ashfield.

There is no charge to attend; simply bring something to share. Newcomers from throughout Carbon County are welcome.

“This potluck event is always a fun opportunity to connect and catch up,” said Palmerton Club President Sarina Berlow.

“The clubs will be providing paper goods and ice. Attendees are welcome to bring their favorite covered dish, finger foods and drink to share. While there are some canopies for shade and tables with benches and umbrellas, guests might want to bring their own lawn chairs if they have them.

“There is also a changing room available for those wishing to take a dip in the pool.”
