July 2, 2000 - Casey Hedash has a strong game on the mound and in the batter’s box as Franklin Township gains a 6-2 victory over White Haven in the District 18 11-12 Little League tournament. Hedash pitches all six innings, allowing just two runs while striking out nine. At the plate, he finishes 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. The winners, coached by Mike Venarchick, break a tie game by scoring four runs in the top of the sixth inning. Sean Alboucq also collects a pair of hits and knocks in a run.
