Ashley James of Weatherly has been awarded the Ronald E. Smallwood Scholarship, sponsored by NECA.

Ashley is the daughter of Michelle James and is majoring in biomedical engineering at Penn State-Hazleton. Her school and community activities included National Honor Society, student government, FBLA, Interact club and the yearbook club.
