A two-car crash Wednesday morning in Franklin Township resulted in minor injuries to two people.

Township police said the incident occurred at 10:12 a.m. at the intersection of Indian Hill Road and Overlook Drive.

Police said an 89-year-old resident was traveling on Indian Hill Road and made an improper turn into the path of a vehicle being driven by a 38-year-old Alabama resident traveling in the opposite direction.

Two people were transported by Lehighton ALS to be checked for minor injuries.

The roadway was reopened at 11:01 a.m.

Also assisting at the scene were the Franklin Township Fire Department and Franklin Township Fire Police.
