Name released for man whose body was found in Lausanne

Police have identified both people whose bodies were dumped near Eckley Road in Lausanne Township, Carbon County.

State Police at Hazleton said the male victim is Tian Jian Pan, 60, an Asian man from Flushing, New York.

The female victim has been identified as Jingzhen Gao, 55, an Asian woman from Flushing New York. He identity was announced last week.

Their bodies were found on May 22. Police said they died somewhere else and were dumped in the wooded area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop N Hazleton at 570-459-3890.

Request to speak with Trooper John P. Lutchko, or a member of the Criminal Investigation Unit.

The victims were both wearing surgical style masks, commonly used during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Police said the items used to conceal the bodies appear to be consistent with the items commonly found in a commercial business style setting.
