Two people were injured Wednesday in a crash in Franklin Township.

The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. at the intersection of Indian Hill road and Overlook Drive involving two cars.

The Franklin Township fire company responded to the scene with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene.

The victims were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital. Franklin Township police are investigating the incident.
