The Ross Township supervisors monthly meeting was a brief due to the absence of its secretary Danielle Romano.

“She is out sick. We will have a limited meeting without last month’s minutes and without an agenda,” Chairwoman Tina Drake said.

If something urgent needs their attention before the July meeting, supervisors will advertise a special meeting 24 hours in advance. It will also be posted on the township website.

The following actions were taken:

• Solicitor Tim McManus announced the adoption of amendments to ordinances involving stormwater, buffers and subdivisions.

• Vice Chairman David Shay said he would contact township engineer Russ Kresge and ask him to do a cost analysis on roadwork to be done in Vista Estates.

• Supervisors approved the four 10-hour day work schedule for the road crew. They will work Monday through Thursday and road foreman Ethan Brewer will be on call on Fridays. This schedule is in effect until Labor Day.

• Supervisors set a $500 permit fee for bed-and-breakfast applications. This includes the cost of inspection.

• Due to the July 4 holiday, the next monthly supervisors meeting is July 12 at 7 p.m.
