Heritage Hill hosts veteran benefit talk

Attention older veterans, find out if you or your spouse qualifies for a higher level of pension during a free online seminar on Veterans Benefits hosted by Heritage Hill Senior Community on June 29, at noon via Zoom.

Christine LeClair, the Carbon County director of Veterans Affairs, will discuss “Aid and Attendance,” a pension benefit that can help defray senior care costs and is different from the VA’s compensation benefit.

Lunch is included, courtesy of Heritage Hill. Pick up your free box lunch at 800 Sixth St., Weatherly, on the day of the event between 9:30-11:30 a.m.

RSVP by June 25 by contacting Rachael at 570-427-4500 or rtimm@heritagehillsenior.com.
