The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Midland Credit Management, Philadelphia, filed the following actions: Palver Payne, 13 Shelley Court, Albrightsville, seeking $1,484.85; and George Strohl, 1824 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive E., Lehighton, seeking $975.36.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, Mechanicsburg, filed the following actions: Sherry Bukics, 61 Dogwood Drive, Jim Thorpe, seeking $1,851.09; and David Goss, 230 E. Hazard St., Summit Hill, seeking 41,793.18.

Discover Bank, New Albany, Ohio, filed against Kyle Porvaznik, 1810 Deer Lane, Lehighton, seeking $15,240.98.

Synchrony Bank, Canonsburg, filed against Scott Rodrigues, 81 Cherrywood Lane, Lehighton, seeking $2,611.34.

LVNV Funding, Horsham, filed an action against Jaryd More, 60 Shelly Drive, Lehighton, seeking $1,275.35.

Mortgage foreclosures

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

First National Bank of America, c/o 241 E. Saginaw, East Lansing, Michigan, filed an action against Robert R. Smith and William Thomas Scruggs, 243 Maple St., Weatherly, over property at that address. Sought is $37,976.42 and continuing interest.

LoanDepot.com LLC, c/o 280 N. Keswick Ave., Glenside, filed an action against Rose Fiscaletti, solely in her capacity as heir to the estate of Don T. Amoruso, deceased, 18 Alister Circle, East Northpoint, New York, over property at 55 Bear Run Lane, Kunkletown. Sought is $172,485.99 and continuing interest.

Loan defaults

Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union, 1500 Elmerton Ave., Harrisburg, filed a civil action against Stephen R. Riggio, 85 James Lane, Lehighton, alleging he defaulted on an automobile loan. Sought is $33,913.85 plus interest, costs and fees.

Onemain Financial Group LLC, 601 NW Second St., Evansville, Indian, filed a civil action against Richard and Carmela Yost, 129 E. Walter St., Summit Hill, alleging they defaulted on a loan. Sought is $3,524.64 plus interest, costs and fees.

Judgment entered

Hop Energy LLC, 841 Lincoln Ave., West Chester, had a judgment entered against Betty A. Edwards, 408 Ridge St., Palmerton, for $2,560.67.
