A protest titled Remove Sexual Predators (and Their Defenders) from Our County Government” is scheduled Saturday at the Schuylkill County Courthouse.

The free event is listed for noon to 1 p.m. and is co-sponsored by the Schuylkill County Democratic Women’s League and Schuylkill County Young Democrats, according to a Facebook post.

“The Schuylkill County Republicans have a sexual predator problem,” the post reads in part.

It goes on to mention Schuylkill County Commissioner George Halcovage Jr. He has been sued by four female Schuylkill County employees who have accused him of harassment.
