May 25, 2006 - Alesha Sisco pitches a two-hit shutout to lead Pleasant Valley to a 3-0 victory over Stroudsburg in the quarterfinal round of the District Class 4A softball playoffs. Sisco walks just one and strikes out seven but is still locked in a scoreless tie until the Bears, coached by Steve Caffrey, plate all three of their runs in the sixth inning. Sisco starts the rally with a walk and races all the way home when Amy Kossyk’s single is booted in the outfield. An Ali Frantz RBI double extends the advantage, while Christine Hrbek’s ground out forces in the final run.
