Tamaqua man faces many drug charges

A Tamaqua man was arrested on a felony drug warrant on Thursday.

Joshua Schrepple, 39, was picked up by police in the area of West Rowe and Swatara Streets. He had charges stemming from incidents on both March 4 and 9. Police said during the time of both incidents, Schrepple was in the area of Boyer’s and the car wash on Cedar Street, where he sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant each time.

Both transactions were observed and video recorded by the Tamaqua Drug Task Force.

The combined charges are four counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

Schrepple was in possession of drugs on Thursday at the time he was picked up on warrant. Charges will be filed.

Bail was set at $50,000 straight. Schrepple was unable to post bail and is in Schuylkill County Prison.
