May 24, 1966 - Mike Yenser drills a two-run homer during a six-run third inning to help Northwestern rally for a 7-5 victory over Jim Thorpe. The Tigers trailed 5-0 before batting around in the third to take a lead they would not relinquish. Don Henninger pitches three scoreless innings of relief to earn the victory, while Heintzelman collects two hits and scores a pair of runs. Henninger also chips in with a hit and run scored. For the OIympians, Jack Figura collects two hits and scores two runs, with Paul Skrimcovsky adding a pair of hits and a run.
