Hazleton state police investigate Carbon incidents

State police at Hazleton reported the following incidents in Carbon County:

• On May 7 at 5:59 p.m. a 63-year-old woman from Quakake Road, Beaver Meadows, Packer Township, reported a air compressor was removed from the front porch of her home. She said the compressor was on the front porch for several weeks and was last seen earlier that day. The value of the compressor was set at $150.

• On May 8 at 6:09 p.m. troopers were dispatched to North Chestnut Street in Tresckow, Banks Township, for a report of criminal mischief. It was determined someone drove a vehicle on the lawn of a 79-year-old man, spinning the tires and throwing mud and grass onto the victim’s car.

Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-459-3890.

• Troopers also investigated a harassment complaint on May 8 at 2:23 p.m. along Broad Street in Beaver Meadows. As a result a 27-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, both from Beaver Meadows, who troopers declined to identify, were each cited for harassment - physical contact.
