A Carbon County man is facing charges following a pursuit that started in Summit Hill and ended in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said they stopped a 2004 Subaru at the intersection of routes 309 and 100 in Heidelberg Township at 4:24 p.m. on April 30 following a pursuit. Troopers said the pursuit of the vehicle began in Summit Hill. Borough police terminated the pursuit due to losing sight of the vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle and initiated another pursuit which ended at the location stated.

At the stop, troopers conducted a consent search of the vehicle and found unopened packs of heroin. The driver was a 33-year-old male from Lansford, who troopers declined to identify.
