Class of 1964

Members of the 1964 graduating class of Jim Thorpe High School will hold a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. this Wednesday at the Riverview Park, Bowmanstown. Any member wishing to bring a snack/dessert or their own lunch is welcome to do so. Others will be ordering from 3 Brothers Pizza, located near the park. Clothing drive/giveaway

The dates have been set for clothing drop-off at St. John’s Lutheran Church, South Avenue, for their annual clothing giveaway. Items may be taken to the church until June 11, however, you must contact Mary Strohl, 570-325-2294 or Shirley Stermer, 570-325-3536 to make arrangements of a date and time. No household items will be accepted.

The giveaway dates are June 17, 18,19, 24, 25 and 26. Thursday hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Fridays, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Masks must be worn, please, adults only, as no children will be permitted. Any questions may be directed to Strohl and Stermer.
