Schuylkill adopts policy revision

Schuylkill County Commissioners adopted a revision to the anti-harassment and nondiscrimination policy at Wednesday’s meeting.

The former policy adopted in February was an update to the September 2013 document. This change reflects the equal employment opportunity officer for the county is the human resources director and the following modification. Heidi Zula is now in that role.

“In the event that the human resources director is unable or precluded from serving as the EEO officer, the county, within its sole discretion, shall appoint an alternative EEO officer to serve in such capacity,” the new sentence reads.
