A pair of Palmerton boys have also put their names on the top line of their events. Jonathan Perloni has turned in the best time in the 110 hurdles this season at 15.5, while Brody Muniz has posted the best javelin throw at 169-8.

A number of other locals are seeded second. They include Palmerton’s Corlan Wood (boys triple jump), Ana Recker (girls pole vault) and Emma Christman (girls triple jump); Northwestern’s Cole Chukoskie (boys 3200); and Northern Lehigh’s Hailey Evans (girls shot put).
