State police at Bethlehem reported on the following incidents.
• On April 25 troopers responded to the area of Main Street in Washington Township for a report of criminal mischief. As a result, troopers said Kaylie Zangari, 32, of Slatington, was charged with criminal mischief for cutting the valve stems on the tires of a 2006 Dodge of a 37-year-old woman from Slatington.
• On April 30 at 4:35 p.m. along Route 145 in North Whitehall Township, a 42-year-old woman from Walnutport and Thomas Balkam, 39, of Northampton, engaged in a verbal dispute while driving. During the dispute the female felt her life was in danger and attempted to pull over at a service station. As the vehicle was in motion, Balkam grabbed the victim’s arm and prevented her from exiting the vehicle. During the struggle Balkam grabbed the woman’s left arm and bit her left hand, causing redness and swelling.
Balkam fled the scene but was later located and taken into custody. He was charged with simple assault and related offenses.
• A theft occurred along West Grant Street in Washington Township at 12:27 p.m. April 3.
Troopers said a 34-year-old woman from Slatington reported her 2013 Hyundai Elantra was entered while parked to the rear of her home and money was taken.
A 25-year-old man from Slatington reported his 2015 Chrysler was entered and removed was a debit card and credit card.
It is believed the theft occurred sometime after 3 a.m. and when troopers were called.
