Palmerton’s boys and girls track teams both posted a pair of wins on Tuesday.

Palmerton

Palmerton swept a Colonial League tri-meet with Wilson and Catasauqua.

The Blue Bombers posted an 85 1/2-64 1/2 win over the Warriors in the boys meet, and a 121-28 victory over the Roughies.

Jonathan Perloni swept the 110 and 300 hurdles, and picked up a win in the high jump for Palmerton, while Owen Hibell (1600), Corlan Wood (pole vault) and Kody Kratzer (triple jump) also posted victories.

In the girls meet, the Bombers topped Wilson 91-53, and rolled past Catty 114-32.

Natalie Mosier (800, 1600) and Abigail Fredericks (shot put, discus) each posted multiple wins, while Lauren Rehrig (200), Danielle Mertz (100H), Emma Snyder (high jump), Ana Recker (pole vault) and Abby Reis (javelin) also recorded victories.

Northwestern split with Salisbury and Southern Lehigh in Colonial League action.

The Tigers both earned wins against the Falcons, with the boys posting a 99-51 victory, and the girls prevailing 137-8.

Faith Yost (100H, 300H) and Caitlyn Miller (discus, javelin) both had multiple first-place finishes for the girls.

Colin Myer won the shot put and discus for the Northwestern boys.

With victories over Salisbury and Northwestern, Southern Lehigh’s boys and girls clinched the dual meet title, with both squads finishing the regular season at 11-0.

North Schuylkill pulled out a pair of victories against Jim Thorpe in a Schuylkill League meet.

The Spartans posted an 81-68 victory on the boys side, and a 77-63 triumph in the girls competition.

Christopher Strika posted wins in the 100, 200 and 400 for the Olympians. Aiden Clements won the pole vault, clearing 12-6 to set a school record by topping the previous mark of 12-1. Clements also won the 300 hurdles. David Richards picked up wins in the 110 hurdles and in the high jump.

In the girls meet, Kaila O’Connor posted a win in the 100 and a runner-up finish in the 200 with a school record time of 25.99. Lydia Wallace (100) and Leah Wasko (300) swept the hurdle events for the Olympians.

Notre Dame GP

Northern Lehigh’s girls picked up a win in a Colonial League meet with Notre Dame-Green Pond and Bangor.

The Lady Bulldogs posted a 71-68 victory over the Slaters, but fell to the Crusaders (107-39).

Hailey Evans won the shot put, discus and javelin for Northern Lehigh, while Emily Moyer was first in the pole vault, and Cadence Whalen and Zoe Hathaway tied for first in the high jump.

The Bulldogs fell to Notre Dame (121-28) and Bangor (107-40) in the boys meet.

Brady Hanzarik (pole vault) and Kenneth Dyer (triple jump) both had wins for the Northern Lehigh boys.
