Wehr reaches milestone at Moravian

Former Northwestern standout Brooke Wehr recently became the 19th player in Moravian softball history to reach 150 career hits during the Greyhounds’ series sweep of Susquehanna University.

Wehr is batting .523 (45-for-86) for Moravian, which is currently 26-0 overall and 22-0 in the Landmark Conference.

She leads the team with 37 RBIs, 29 runs scored, 12 doubles, five triples and a .919 slugging percentage. She is second on the team in home runs with four.

In a shortened 2020 season, Wehr played in all 10 contests with 16 hits, 13 runs, two doubles, three homers, nine RBIs, a .421 average and a .711 slugging percentage. She was named to Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Wehr saw action in 36 games with 52 hits, 44 runs, seven doubles, three triples, seven homers and 30 RBIs to go with a .385 average and a .637 slugging percentage in 2019. She collected her 100th career hit during the season and was selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team as a catcher and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Atlantic Region Third Team, and was again named to Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll.

As a freshman, Wehr played in 44 games. She recorded 48 runs, 54 hits, nine doubles, 39 RBIs, 13 walks and 12 home runs.

Wehr also had a batting average of .355 and a slugging percentage of .651. She was named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team as a right fielder and to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Atlantic Region Third Team.

She holds a career batting average of .406 (167-for-411) with 30 doubles, 26 home runs, eight triples and 115 RBIs.
