The Rush Township supervisors last night approved the final plans of Laneco for the construction of a $5 million department and food store, plus a mall, at the Tidewood East Industrial Park in Hometown.

The contractor, Bucks Development and Contracting Corporation, expects to use local manpower, if available, up to a probable 125 employees, if needed.

Laneco officials said they are very pleased with this area and said they are anticipating a contributed growth this area. The company is complying with all local regulations and will continue to do so. The mall will also provide employment for a number of local people.
