The Palmerton Fire Department was recently the recipient of a generous donation from a downtown business.
Country Harvest Family Market provided borough fire Chief Jason Behler with a check in the amount of $5,000 to be used to buy appliances for the fire station.
The check was a gift from Darlene and Richard Nothstein, Chris and Sheri Anthony, and the Country Harvest Family Market.
Borough Manager Donna McGarry also assisted with the gift.
