Frackville state police

State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents.

• On April 3 at 8:14 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2015 Chevrolet in the 200 block of Claremont Avenue (Route 309), in Rush Township. Troopers said drug paraphernalia was found.

Robert Christman, 31, of Tamaqua, has drug charges pending.

• On April 8 at 11:45 a.m., a 16-year-old male from Tamaqua had a vape pen and vape cartridges with THC oil while at the Schuylkill Technology Center, north campus, in New Castle Township. A petition will be filed with the county juvenile probation office, troopers added.

• On April 18 at 10:49 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the area of 1300 Walnut Street, in Ashland, for a crash involving several vehicles.

It was reported a 2012 Mazda driven at a high rate of speed left the road and crashed into two legally parked vehicles. The vehicle then crashed into the rear of another vehicle that was parking at the time.

Antonio DeAngelo, 19, of Ashland was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Six vehicles were damaged as a result of the crash, troopers added. Charges are pending.
