2021 primary election: Ballard seeks reelection to Palmerton Borough Council

My name is Michael Ballard and I am running for reelection for Palmerton Borough.

I have been a councilperson for 11 years and I have only missed three meetings; that’s how important our borough and its residents are to me.

I have helped save the borough over the past few years over $550,000 by refinancing in bonds. The streets in the borough have been repaved and our sewer and water systems have had upgrades and repairs.

My agenda for our borough is not to play parties in council chambers. It is to take care of the borough and its residents. Over the past 11 years we have only had slight tax increases and we don’t waste resources like other boroughs. I also had a hand in the rehab of our rose garden along with the Concourse Club, and now many people get married and take photos in our beautiful rose garden.

I ask for your support and vote on election day and I promise that I will give the borough and its residents the utmost care and concern I have had the past 11 years. And remember, my only agenda is to care for the borough and its residents, and my door is always open to help any residents with issues within our borough.

Thank you, and don’t forget to vote for all the sitting council members whose only agenda is like mine, to care for the borough and its residents. Thank you all for your support.
