Jim Thorpe split a tri-meet with Pottsville and Blue Mountain on Monday, while Panther Valley split its dual meet with Shenandoah Valley.

Jim Thorpe split a Schuylkill League tri-meet, as both the Olympian boys and girls defeated Pottsville, but lost to Blue Mountain.

Chris Strika captured three events in the boys meet, winning the 100, 200 and 400.

A.J. Bailor (shot, discus) and David Richards (110 hurdles, high jump) also posted a pair of wins.

In the girls competition, both Kaila O’Connor and Laura Clarke earned a pair of firsts. O’Connor sprinted to wins in the 100 and 200, while Clarke outthrew the field in the shot and discus.

Panther Valley and Shenandoah Valley split its Schuylkill League track and field meet.

The Panther girls posted an 88-36 win, while the Blue Devil boys earned a 79-61 victory.

Aneilia McLeod (100, 200), Hailey Shreffler (800, 1600) and Autumn Steibler (100H, 300H) all won two events for the PV girls.

The Panther boys, meanwhile, received a pair of firsts from Gabriel DeMatto in the hurdling events.
