A New York man has been charged with burglary after breaking into a home and stealing a bottle of brandy.

Pennsylvania State Police - Fern Ridge barracks were dispatched on April 9 to a home on Park Trail in Albrightsville for an active domestic between a woman and Robert Cerobski, 34.

Cerobski was visibly intoxicated and had a bottle of Hennessy in his hand, police said.

Cerobski was placed under arrest and placed in a marked patrol vehicle.

The woman told police that the night before she and Cerobski had an argument and she wanted him removed from the residence. She said he doesn’t pay any bills or live there.

Cerobski agreed to stay at a Best Western Hotel for the night.

The victim said that she did not feel comfortable staying at the residence, so she stayed with a friend.

The woman said that at some point throughout the evening, Cerobski came back to her residence and broke a rear window valued at $500.

Cerobski took a bottle of Hennessy valued at $50.

Cerobski faces charges of burglary; criminal trespass; criminal mischief; theft by unlawful taking; terroristic threats; public drunkenness and similar misconduct; and harassment.

He is currently incarcerated in the Carbon County Correctional Facility, and scheduled to have a preliminary hearing this week before District Judge Eric M. Schrantz of Jim Thorpe.
