The seedings have been released for next week’s District 11 Class 2A and 3A boys tennis tournaments.

Three area players qualified for the 16-person Class 2A field. No area players qualified in Class 3A.

Jim Thorpe’s Daniel Teets and Connor Rogers, along with Lehighton’s Aaron Miller, will all be in the tournament.

Rogers will play No. 8 seed Vincent Caruso of Blue Mountain in the first round, while Teets will take on Bethlehem Catholic’s Armaan Makwana, who is seeded third.

Miller is set to play the fifth seed, Will Menichelli, of Moravian Academy.

The first round and quarterfinals in Class 2A will take place Monday at Parkland High School beginning at 9 a.m. The semifinals and championship will be Wednesday at Parkland.
